Dr. Kristen Hughes (Cohort 4, Santa Barbara County) was recently quoted in a Noozhawk article examining the dangers of the Santa Barbara Unified School District's take-home iPad program for students. In the article, Dr. Hughes is quoted as saying, "I serve the most vulnerable youth, with the lowest socio-economic status in the community. We were already dealing with pediatric obesity. It is harder for me now to motive my patients to be active and move around."
