Food Security
The consistent availability and usability of affordable food among underserved communities.
Healthy Food and Beverage Standards
A set of requirements that define the types of foods and beverages available and the way they are promoted in stores, restaurants, workplaces, settings, and other places where individuals can get food.
Safe Routes to School
Any effort to make it safer, more accessible, and affordable for students, and their families, to walk, bike, or take public transit to school.
School Wellness Policy
Any effort to improve a school's food or physical environment over, and above, changes required by federal law.
Structured Physical Activity
Convenient, planned, guided, and culturally appropriate recreational opportunities in community centers, schools, workplaces, settings, or other venues.
