Delta Dental Community Care Foundation (DDCCF) - Access to Care Grant awarded Dr. David Thai (Cohort 5, Sonoma) and West County Health Centers $350,000. One component of the grant award will be used to improve patient diagnostics with new equipment at their rural clinics. This will improve access for rural patients to state-of-the-art X-ray machines without having to travel to other cities.
A total of $16 million in California from this grant. DDCCF is focused on systems change and health equity. The Access to Care Grant enable underserved individuals in the community to get preventive and restorative treatments in accessible locations.
