About: The in-person Onboarding and Mini College is designed for Champion Provider Fellows and local health department representatives. This all-day training will include skill booster workshops, presentations by Champion Provider Fellows, and networking opportunities. CME and CDE units will be provided.Local, state, and institutional COVID-19 guidelines will be followed as it relates to in-person gatherings.

Continuing Education Credit Update: Due to unexpected changes in the accreditation process, we are unable to offer continuing dental education (CDE) credits for this year's Onboarding and Mini-College. We hope to resume offering CDE credits for future trainings.

Travel & Reimbursement:
- Current Fellows:
- Cohorts 2025 and 2023 Champion Provider Fellows will be reimbursed for travel expenses (airfare, mileage, parking, rideshare/taxi, public transportation). The Fellowship is covering two nights of lodging at the group rate for Cohort 2025 and one night of lodging at the group rate for Cohort 2023. Individuals must live and/or work 50+ miles from the meeting venue in order to be eligible for overnight accommodations. Cohorts 2025 and 2023 will be reimbursed for all travel related expenses, except meals. Please refer to the Champion Provider Fellowship Travel Guidance for more information on travel reimbursements.
- Alumni Fellows:
- All other Champion Provider Fellow alumni will be required to cover costs associated with their attendance at the training.
- Local Health Departments:
- Local health departments should utilize their budgeted funding for travel-related expenses for the Champion Provider Fellowship workshop.
Parking: Self-parking for a daily fee. Cost: $25 USD
Air: The Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is approximately 10 miles from the venue.
Train: The Amtrak Sacramento Valley Station (SAC) is approximately 1 mile from the venue. Please book as soon as possible to receive the lowest fare.
