About: The in-person Mini College is designed for Champion Provider Fellows and local health department representatives. This all-day training will include skill booster workshops, presentations by Champion Provider Fellows, and networking opportunities. CME and CDE units will be provided. This will be an all-day, in-person training. Local, state, and institutional COVID-19 guidelines will be followed as it relates to in-person gatherings.
Lodging: Room reservations can now be made at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento for the group rate of $145/night. Use the reservation link that was emailed to you to secure the group rate. The reservation cut-off date is Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
Travel: The Champion Provider Fellowship program will cover all travel related expenses (hotel accommodations (1 night), airfare, gas/mileage, parking, etc.) for current fellows. Unfortunately, the program is unable to cover meal expenses. Fellows from previous cohorts are invited to attend, but their travel expenses will NOT be covered by the Champion Provider Fellowship program. Local health departments should utilize their budgeted funding for travel-related expenses for the Champion Providers workshop. Reimbursement will be handled according to the county’s reimbursement policies.
Venue Pandemic Guidelines: Please anticipate the following requirements for all clients, meeting attendees, and dedicated vendors:
- Masks
- Temperature screening
- Proof of vaccination

Check-in Process: Every event attendee will check-in at The California Endowment’s front desk for the temperature screening and proof of vaccination. After checking-in with TCE, every event attendee will sign-in for the Mini College at the table outside of the Adelante Room.
