It isn’t just your knowledge, education, or grasp of the facts that inspire the media and public to take action—it’s the powerful, real stories you witness every day in your practice. These stories bring to life how nutrition and the environments we live in shape the public’s health.

The Champion Providers Fellowship will host a full-day workshop designed to help Fellows harness those stories to shape public opinion and mobilize action.

Led by Michael Miller, president of Brown·Miller Communications, the session will introduce Fellows to the concept of Persuasive Narratives—a structured way to turn real-world experiences into compelling advocacy tools. Participants will then engage in guided exercises to develop their own narratives and explore how to use them effectively in media, community, and policy settings.

This interactive workshop will combine short instructional sessions, individualized counsel, and dedicated time for drafting and practicing your persuasive narrative. During the Session #2, Brown·Miller Communications will provide personalized feedback to help refine and strengthen your story for maximum impact.
