This interactive media training workshop presented by Brown·Miller Communications (10/22/19) included interactive activities, mock interviews and constructive critiques. Fellows learned the differences between various types of media outlets and how to successfully work with each, the qualities that make a story newsworthy, how to craft and deliver a compelling story, and pitfalls to avoid when working with the press.
